Elmbridge Home and Grounds

Decking built on a level frame you can trust.

Timber and composite decking with solid framing underneath.

Newly built timber deck and step outside a garden building

What we take on

The boards are what you see first — but the work underneath decides how long a deck lasts. We prepare the ground, set a level subframe on pads and pedestals, and finish with grooved boards and steps that suit how you use the space.

Available across Weybridge, Cobham, Esher, Walton-on-Thames, and the wider Elmbridge Borough.

What’s included

  • Timber and composite decking platforms
  • Ground preparation and weed membrane under the footprint
  • Level subframe on concrete pads and adjustable pedestals
  • Joists and noggins braced for a stable structure
  • Integrated steps and a clean edge to the surrounding garden

Proper framing and levelling under every deck.

How we work

  1. Step 1

Prepare the ground and lay weed membrane

  2. Step 2

Set pads and pedestals, then build a level subframe

  3. Step 3

Brace the frame properly with joists and noggins

  4. Step 4

Lay grooved boards and fit steps to suit access

  5. Step 5

Leave a clean edge to the surrounding garden

Common questions

Do you only fit the boards, or build the frame as well?
We build the structure properly — ground prep, membrane, levelled frame, then the boards. A deck is only as good as what sits underneath it.
Can a deck work on slightly uneven ground?
Yes. Adjustable pedestals and careful framing are how we get a level platform when the garden is not perfectly flat.
